Sequel to an Easter-themed horror game
Dye The Bunny 2 is a premium adventure PC title from developer Vidas Salavejus. It is the sequel to the first Dye The Bunny horror game that follows the harrowing journey of a girl who went to an Eastern Egg Hunting event into a rabbit hole. This sequel picks up where its predecessor left off and continues its dark and psychological story.
Down the rabbit hole
This demo version for Dye The Bunny 2 picks up from the original, with Ellie finding herself in the house of a Bunny after leaving home. After accidentally hurting it, she is the only one who can find the cure to heal him. Thus begins a new dark and psychological adventure that will take you to various surreal worlds, committing horrible acts to save the Bunny.
This sequel also features more psychological puzzles to solve and exploration through unique biomes. Just like the original, it has horror survival elements in its gameplay that will have you run, hide, and manage your inventory to survive the ordeal. All that said, the story can be a bit confusing at times, and the voice acting could have been a lot better since it takes away from the immersive experience.
A solid sequel
All in all, Dye The Bunny 2 is a good sequel that builds upon the dread and psychological aspects of the original while retaining the engaging puzzles and expanding on the exploration and survival aspects even more. The story can be convoluted at certain points and the voice acting is a bit subpar, but they're not enough to detract from the overall experience.
